■Overview
Foot-operated Fi series sealer is a long selling product that has been utilized for packaging food and industrial products. Effortless foot-operation creates beautiful and strong seals. Optional table and hot stamp printer can be installed to make packaging process easy and efficient.
■ Notification Lamp and Ending Sound
Sealing process can be visually confirmed by a notification lamp. The lamp turns red during heating. It turns blue during cooling which is vital for beautiful seals. When the lamp turns off, a peep will be heard, indicating the sealing is complete.
■ Simple Operation
Effortless foot-operation creates beautiful and strong seals.
Set the heating time with the timer and set the bag on the sealing area. Just step on the pedal to create a seal.
The heating time varies depending on the type and thickness of the packaging material.
1. Use the timer to set appropriate heating time which varies with packaging material and its thickness.
2. Place a bag on the sealing area.
3. Step on the pedal and keep pressing. The heat/cool lamp lights in red, indicating the sealing process has begun.
4. The heat/cool lamp lights in blue after finishing heating. While the blue light is on, keep on depressing the pedal.
5. Wait for the blue light to turn OFF and “peep” is heard before releasing the foot pedal. When the blue light is OFF before you release the pedal.
■ A Variety of Applications
Seal width available in 2 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm.
Seal length available in 200 mm, 300 mm and 600 mm.
The single-side heating models can seal packaging materials up to 0.3 mm thick.
The double-side heating models can handle thick, laminated, or gusset bags of up to 0.4 mm thick.
It is possible to extend the shelf life by enclosing an oxygen absorber.
10mm double-side heating models adopt the braided heating element
A braided heating element is used for the FI series with a product name ending in "10DK".
The braided heating element is made by weaving nickel-chromium fine wires into braided cords.
Compared to conventional ribbon heating elements, since the edge shape is round, it is possible to perform a durable seal without edge breakage even after repeated use. It has a structure that is resistant to sticking, and this highly durable heating element can be used to seal thick films, laminated bags, and gusseted bags.
Options
■ Table
Fi series sealers come equipped with standard table for general expected settings. Optional tables are available in case standard one does not meet your needs.
1. Standard tableis a stainless, plate-like table that attaches to the seal frame, with load capacity of up to 2 kg.
2. Special Table can be attached to stand pipe to support heavy content. Its height can be adjusted according to the pipe. Fi-600 series sealer come equipped with special table whose load capacity is up to 20 kg.

Safety Measures
■ Timer to prevent overheating
When power continues to be distributed to the heating element for about 4.0 seconds or more, the power switch turns off automatically and the power shuts off.
